We recognize the importance and centrality of knowledge and technology transfer as the means of mutually empowering BRICS member countries. In this regard we support efforts to establish BRICS mechanisms that enhance technology and knowledge transfer amongst the member countries.

Anton Yanovsky, Project Director of the Russian Technology Transfer Network, attended this meeting as a head of the expert group for R&D and Innovation Platform (RDIP BRICS).

The New Development Bank of BRICS approved first investment projects

NDBBRICS Development Bank approved the four investment projects. The priority for the Board of Governors of the Bank has become a Green Energy: all projects designed with the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the environment.

Presentation of the BRICS-TTN Platform at UNIDO Headquarters

The launch of a pilot coordinated call for multilateral projects in the area of research and commercialization of innovation technologies

MINOBR RF logo On 19-20 January 2016, in Beijing, China, the 2nd meeting took place of organisations supporting research, technology and innovation in the BRICS countries. The meeting was organized by the RF Ministry of Education and Science, and the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology. Over 30 representatives of BRICS ministries, R&D foundations and agencies supporting research, technology and innovation took part in the event.
